Stellar Local a brand by Tarkett

Terms of Service

Last updated: 24 July 2026

These terms cover the Stellar Local service, operated by Useful for Humans Ltd under the Stellar Local brand for the Tarkett retailer network. By connecting your Google Business Profile to Stellar Local, you agree to them.

What we do

Stellar Local helps keep your Google Business Profile active on your behalf. With your permission we publish posts, reply to reviews, keep your profile information up to date, and report back on how the listing is performing. We aim to make your listing work harder without you having to think about it.

What it costs you

The service is free to you as a Tarkett retailer. Tarkett funds it. There is no charge to your business for taking part.

You stay in control

Reviews

Where you ask us to invite your customers to review you, we always request reviews and never incentivise them, in line with Google's policies. We ask once, send at most one gentle reminder, and then stop. Customers can opt out at any time.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy of the business information you give us, and for having the right to share any customer contact details you provide for review requests. Please do not ask us to publish anything false, misleading, or unlawful.

Availability and liability

We work hard to keep the service running, but we provide it "as is" and cannot guarantee it will always be available or error free, not least because it depends on Google's systems. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes and ending the service

We may update these terms or the service from time to time; we will tell retailers about material changes. Either side can end the arrangement at any time. If the service ends, we remove our access to your profile and, as set out in our Privacy Policy, delete your account data.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.

How we handle data is set out separately in our Privacy Policy.
